Hi all, After some tech help and if possible leads on where to obtain what’s needed. Basically a good mate of mine has a ratty bay that’s a SA import that’s had the front cut out for rad etc (used to have a V6 in it ) Any way it’s time to get it on the move. We’ve got a mk2 1.6d golf and a good bay box so we’re after the adapter plate, clutch, fly wheel etc to marry the pair together and fit them. So has anyone either got anything to suit us they’re looking to off load? And also any information on what we need/where to get it? TIA Rob. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Johhson Autoworks have recently developed a Golf conversion, diesel i think. Maybe worth ringing them.
Intersting - don`t suppose you`ve a pic of the SA import ?? Used to see an obviously water cooled and cosmeticaly ratty one in Cape Town - nearly every year for yonks
Hi Robert, Did you get anywhere with golf conversion ? I was about to so subaru one but just wondering if Golf 1.9 will work.
