I remember that there were a couple of other people on here, as well as me, who have the date of first registration on their V5c as 1st January 1976. Has anyone with this date tried changing to Historic status today? I was hoping that the DVLA document INF34 would be updated to reflect the current date. But it is still showing last years information.
My understanding is that you will be fine upto 07/01/2016 (think I hve read on here and elseware, as the assumption is if registered the first week of Jan, was manufacture the year before! ............... Take it into a large Post Office and ask.
That's my understanding too. In fact I have said so in other threads. Hence the pic I posted. I just wondered if anyone had actually done it.

That is very good news indeed as I've got the warranty book saying 05-21-77 but v5 says 01-01-77 so I'm very keen to push for it on 01-04-17 otherwise I'll have to wait until 18! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
