it can be sprayed at point of manufacture or retro-fit so to speak. Why would you want it? Well simply put, it won't chip, crack, flake or peel, has ballistic strength impact resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and much more too. As a chassis/vehicle coating it will out live any other coating by around 30-40 years. It is ideal for coating the chassis and underside if a camper when you do a bare metal resto.
Sounds mega! What substrate does it need? As in what's the condition? Could it work on rust? How's it applied, some form of conductivity?
Surface prep for steel needs to be grit blast to SA2.5 then spree direct onto that. No conductivity needed but you do need need special spray equipment as it sprayed at 2500 psi and 70 degrees C.
Could you not just buy a few short lengths of box section weld them to any shape you want and use that ...you could make it in to any shape , or size or even make in in to the name of the product
