I have been out in the workshop and found the slamming stick so - sorry Ruby i am going to hit you with it on sunday - time to become a lowlife
Give me a bit of credit please i only do what the customer wants if its to low i will change it for him
All lowered all round - Next job to repair the cab steps they are a real mess all in the wrong place - we still need an engine for Ruby please help
@outlaw can you point me in the direction of where you hot the bits to lower the van? How does it drive now?
The front shocks were an ebay purchase (Outlaw found them), rear was lowered using horseshoe plates and the rest was down to Outlaw's wizardry and knowledge! My bus looks awesome now! Don't know how it handles currently as engine is knackered. :-( I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU! to Outlaw for all his advice and efforts in helping with Ruby and for putting up with me as I know next to nothing about t2's so have been asking a lot of questions! Lol. I'm learning fast though!
I shoved some horseshoe plates on mine, couldnt get the bloody wheels on !!!! Stance on that is sweet... how can anyone argue with that, stops it looking like a cartoon bus, like the cars on wacky races that rise on stilts.. LOL gotta love a lowered bus , stock is good but there just so near perfect lowered a tad ... ( in my humble opinion ) P.S horseshoe plates for sale see in stuff for sale
Well flooring has been ordered today, new narrower front tyres sourced today ready to go on and replacement engine being dropped off to the awesome Outlaw tomorrow so hopefully Ruby will be back on the road soon! Fingers crossed ill still be able to take her to Bugjam.
Its been a while changing jobs slowed me up a lot - but she is alive again with a 1600 twin port - would have been quicker if some numpty hadn't forgotten the exciter ring - opps must be getting old - She sounds sweet
