Yipee, got the green light, so I'm joining the great convoy from Bristol onwards.

No work to be done to my bus, that I know of (other than trying to get the sliding door to run better!) but will help anyone, get dirty, drink beer and look sympathetic if needs be.

Konaboy - If the bus gets there I'll pick the thing that seems most likely to fall off first, if it doesnt, then I'll be bringing some tools for others to borrow and drinking rum.
PeaSoup - (both weather dependent) Replacing bushes in sliding door hinge and (possibly) replacing nearside/rear opening quaterlight.
Lord Congi - attempting to fit riviera heater and a few electrical alterations.

Beaver - Eating curry. Making magnetic cirtains under Ermintrude's close supervision. Getting dirty.
Samwise - servicing and arsing up other peoples propex and steering wheels

This is my first post ever and I will be attending. Unfortunately not in my friends bus as it's off the road at the moment. I'm really looking forward to it as I would like to know some basics before I set off on a return trip to Munich.

Lasts years borrowed bus now has a fancy new audi gearbox and cable linkage in it. I've not re-learnt how to drive it yet.

 

I started mine just in case and am doing non mechanical stuff. Toyed with the idea of screwing the propex in place and didnt in case i hit a brake pipe or summat
looks like im mostly going to be working on my own bus as i havent got around to doing the hook up, 12 accessory wiring, lighting and propex.

Might have a play with the throttle linkage to see if i can improve it.
