Well its now in the spray shop, had a couple of bits of welding done, inner and outer bottom of the sliding door and a bit around the bottom of the windscreen, they reckon about ten days and its going to cost just over 2 grand Meantime apart from playing about with the Lambretta i have been doing a few small jobs incl altering the handbrake slightly so i can do a hill start with the Empi shifter And making a throttle linkage out of some M4 rose joints
It isn't now, pic taken at about 10.30, sent to she who must be obeyed who then stormed over there at 5! The fibreglass and above will be white and going to do matt black inside the vents, should be able to pick it up tomorrow with luck.
I love the colour, unique, as is the dash. How did you do the dash. Is it real wood covering or some sort of vinyl. Is that a dumb question? Lol
Real Walnut veneer, TBH it was a right pain to do, having seen some i would probably go for hydrographics if it wasn't too expensive http://www.wprefinishing.co.uk/communities/0/004/011/062/210/images/4603363560.swf
You told me it was going to be black .....? Or is that the under colour ? It's amazing what a coat of paint does to transform a bus .looks well nice If you hold on to the fridge vent ,I'll get it when I return the favour ...
It's the colour that I was going to paint Edmondo, I really like it. (I liked it more with a white roof though)
