Me too. It's just the pension mobile I have problems with. wouldn't you try to forget you owned it too?
Not much and even less if like perhaps yourself you have the tickover set to 400rpm to save fuel. Seriously though, not a lot which is why they added the aux fan to T4 engines. But if I'm on a run it burns my feet and I have to switch it off.
I can't see it burning my feet I have repro hxs for now, well until I can source some og ones anyway. cheers Ste.
Meanwhile back on the heater saga, the footwell heater is blowing nice and warm and quite forceful through the drivers side vent when revved up but not quite so fierce on the passenger side in fact a marked difference. How can this be I would have thought they would have been balanced and send out the same force of air.
the totem is easy enough to remove if you want to see if there is a blockage, but I doubt it tbh. here's a nice little bodge you can do if you do decide to remove the totem: Before removing totem, make a mark where the handbrake pivot would touch, if it could be pushed all the way forward. fit a door courtesy light switch where the mark is (Totem can be earthed if needs be) run a +ve (IG. on) from the fuse box to a flashing LED mounted in the dash directly infront of the driver run back to the switch fit a suitable bracket to the end of the h/brake lever so it depresses the switch when OFF you'll never drive off with your handbrake on again quite a rewarding job for a winter's afternoon think some buses have them as standard, but mine didn't...very easy to set off with the H/brake on...especially when you're starting to get a little forgetful
