In the back of my garage I found an Un-opened 1960's OEM box of Quality German air. Should suit any aircooled vehicle £75 plus p&p
That's the one Scoob. Late bay chrome locking engine lid lock. Let me know if you've got one and we can sort a price. Cheers mate Doug
Ive been offered manky rear tins for +£150!!! They can .... right off. Theyre worth £40 and thats it. Mostly Ive been offered stuff here reasonably or even free (thanks Dog). I used to have some rear drums, which i was going to donate to some fella. He even popped round. But my wife mistook them for my pile of scrap for the tip a few days earlier....oh well.
Baysearcher - I have a matt black engine hatch lock sat on my which works & has a key - dunno if its any good to you?
That reminds me, before the site crashed i got a PM about some cab door heater channel/armrests, but i didn't know what i was doing with them at the time, but i cant remember who it was from!?
Ive a set of grey fraylon cushions for a devon i dont want. Plus 3 orangey flock bits for a rnr bed off a devon i dont want either. freee to anyone.
MorkC68 is it one of the ones with a hook, or the latch that comes out of the barrel? Is it plastic or metal? May be interested as cant find a chrome one! Cheers
Its a plastic one by the looks of it - the latch comes out of the barrel, its a bit mucky but works. If you want a pic sending over, let me know & Ill get one taken & pm it you
Same same. One of the first things I noticed on VW forums was that not many people give anything away for nowt. In comparison to the Z4 forum where there were always posts offering bits for free. I somehow thought it would have been the other way around. Anyhow, karma dictates that its better to give something away if you don't need it than to sell it for a wedge of cash.
On that note, people keep an eye on your paypal accounts, mine has decided to break the chain with my bank and an email saying don't blame us blame your bank , but the bank says it nothing to do with us ! Deep joy, setting it all up again........
Talking of odds and sods, anyone on here fancy trying nibbling ( not the cake or cheese variety ) ? Under my feet as I sit here reposes a Turner sheet metal Nibbler in its box together with a pistol drill bench clamp. Its not knackered just needs a good home. Don't want anything for it.
