Ok 6 are being picked up on Saturday as follows: Still waiting to here from @Lasty Can drop me a whatsapp on 07870 892246 as it seems the pm here isnt arriving...
No worries Ian, everyone on here has good intentions but there are those who look in who might take advantage.
I maybe posted this in the wrong place...Been a bit of a to do on our street this am... A bullet hole in the windows of flats 1 & 2 of the block next door. Road has been blocked off since around 10am and still is https://www.edinburghlive.co.uk/news/edinburgh-news/edinburgh-police-swoop-sleepy-street-28033860 I dont envision is lasting that long but if the saturday RM pick up is delayed please bear with me.
Hopefully winding down now, there was a 6 man white suited brigade going in followed by sniffer dog and metal detector crew outside...
Hi Ian, don't do the WhatsApp thingy but pm'd you on here and PayPal sent last night. No rush to get it posted but if it's a problem I can collect at Techenders ?? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Area is all clear now Royal Mail were avoiding the area past 2 days but should be good for tomorrow am... I have 7 being picked up so you should have by middle of next week
All 7 were picked up earlier this afternoon. One thing to note is that the splined split connector appears to have its locking screw orientated at 90 deg to the original setup. I think this means the steering wheel has to be removed and re-orientated. I'm contemplating just using the old piece until I figure out if I can actually get my steering wheel off again. Seems to be proper splines on the new piece also
To be honest I'll be using the original clamp anyway. I saw your post regarding the lower cost clamp-less ones and considered ordering one of those. It wasnt clear that they were the same material as this type though so didn't want to complicate things Edit, there must be a reason VW orientated the split clamp the way they did so that's another potential aftermarket fail point I personally will try and avoid if possible
