We had some bubbles on the rear wheel arches treated and resprayed just before Christmas last year (December 2020). The bodyshop looked to have done a great job at the time, the paint match was particularly good. But we've just noticed one or 2 have re-appeared each side. This is way too early isn't it? - even given our extremely wet year? The bus is kept on our drive but we'd also had him in storage for 2 of the last 6 months!
If they didn’t remove All the rust it will come back that quickly especially if there was any moisture under the paint Like weeds through tarmac unfortunately
I would guess they treated some pitting that went right through and moisture has got through from the rear. Bits on the cusp are a hard call, it takes the job up a step once you start cutting bits out.
They did say they'd cut it out but I'm taking it back there on Wednesday for him to see and I'll ask again. I would have expected whatever they did to last more than 6 months.
This is becoming a repeated topic on here - you pay to have rust cut out but you get sanded and treated. Nothing new I guess but norty.
