Especially as that one only has two legs.

  6. Transformers?

  7. Possibly, I didn't get too close, if so, one or two of them were doing a great John Deere impression.

Would have got a bit further despite the chill wind up here but the boss dislocated her shoulder just as I was on the main roof patching up after the overnight north easterly blew my six year old "temporary" cover fifty metres down the garden

It doesn’t want plugging. It needs to be connected to your servo if it’s the one from the photos the other day.

It would be at that point that I would get distracted or waylaid and that would remain on my path for months!!

  13. The out branch on the inlet manifold has a plug that fits into it to cap it off, as the branch used to be used as a vacuum for the servo brakes but mine hasn’t got a servo so no need for the branch... tried several vendors but no avail ??

Same as mine. I’ve got a short section of fuel hose with a self tapper screwed into it to block that off.

P.S ignore the pipe blocking the dizzy’s vacuum advance, I was setting the timing.

  16. From your pic, the slim-looking branch looks like the manifold vacuum take off to operate the warm air flap on the airbox. The servo takeoff was larger bore. Some manifolds have both, some neither. You can cap it off with a short length of hose plugged at the end. Where does your airbox flap currently get its vacuum from?

Or...the take off may not actually be drilled through, so you don’t need to plug it anyway.

  17. Brilliant, so it’s of no consequence being blocked off ,?

  18. Nope.

  19. Mine is the larger diameter 12-15mm I think like you said originally for the servo, so I just need to look into ways of blocking it off securely and looks original :))

  20. A length of suitable vacuum hose with a bolt held in with a jubilee clip should be fine.

My vacuum take off is bunged up like that at the moment.
