I see Spain has it real bad...second only to us here in Italy. 3rd week of lockdown....bored bored bored
It’s your national service I guess. There was a WW2 gent here that said he did his and went to war....we all need to do ours and stay at home on the sofa.
Have you seen the utter lunacy coming from POTUS If this doesn’t get him impeached I don’t know what will.
I think he'll be ignored out of any meaningful existence and loose the election when it comes out he dumped $$$$s of shares in recent months, which he will have. How they are acting on the ground and what comes out of his mouth are not gelling at all if the Samba mob are anything to go by, though you have to read between the lines as all political crud is edited out. They are getting a bit gunny though.
Give them a break. Judging from ONLY Samba, the reaction to "China" virus is 99.9% . They would be disappointed if Trump didn't behave true to form but it's like Punch and Judy, entertainment not to be taken seriously, not even contemplated. Then they carry on self isolating, shutting non-essential businesses and generally acting responsibly, sadly possibly more responsibly and diligently than we did. But it did take them too long to start thinking for themselves, they weren't well served by the confusion the glorious leader sewed in the first few weeks, but the people seem to have been ahead of the government, which is heart warming IMO, and more than ready to support each other.
Their second amendment is built on the principle of ignoring the government. Maybe social media served them well
Thanks. I'm watching the UK ...as things are going to get worse before they get better. That previous weeks pictures in the news of people in queues, using g the tube etc. That was only spreading g this thing. Not good.
Not looking good over here. This time last year. A lovely break on lake como. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Made my first two loafs yesterday. It’s a bit of an all day event isn’t it?! Managed to tend to it while working from home. Baked one last night and the other this morning having left it in the fridge overnight. Pretty happy with that. Had a bacon sandwich this morning with it. Delicious!
Far be it from me to big up the Americans, but a lot of the private sector over there sent those that could work from home, to home, before Boris even got himself on the telly.
They're lucky to have Trump - knowing that their President will do the wrong thing for the wrong reasons saves a lot of mucking about wondering what to do.
That looks very tasty. We’ve a bread maker (purchased long before this all kicked off) and it’s much tastier than the stuff in the shops. No artificial crap!
Free to read upbeat article in the Financial Times... Actually it's not looking so good for our cousins over the pond in the first graph... https://www.ft.com/coronavirus-latest
