It seems to come and go. Sometimes every press of a link, sometimes 20 mins or more with none. Very odd. I wasn’t affected the last time at all on iOS / safari

That is when it started for me recently. The advinci button. one of the main issues seems to be delay in posting, hence the number of double posts by people at the moment.
Junk email account and different password is without doubt the best advice. I reset my password last time to a random one
I use Brave Browser https://brave.com/download/ I'd advise you to have a read through of what it does but its easily the best alternative to Chrome and IE11/Edge I've encountered. I am not getting pop ups here (I am getting delays as it stops all the pop-ups and re-routing and spurious cookie downloads) - though my iPhone is riddled with the re-routing in Safari on this site.
I'd get rid of the Advinci stuff, and then give some thought as to how it got there in the first place...
Yup I've got brave on my phone for the more interesting sites... I might move the latebay over to it. This place is great btw but I value my privacy

Check your setting as I am getting none. I am getting a lot of hanging pages, and some functions don't load - I assuming this is the browser blocking the pop ups etc.
