I’m sorry to say I may not be finishing this. I might be putting it up for sale or swap in the near future. Yesterday I had a heart attack I’m back home now and I’m very thankful to be alive. I lost my dad to a heart attack aged 50 and Im 41 this year. I know you shouldn’t think like this but it’s drummed home how precious time is. Money and time is tight and I’m not sure I want to spend it finishing this off. I’d rather spend it going places and doing/seeing and experiencing things.
Bloody hell Para, glad you’re home and okay. Take it easy and do what you need to do; look after yourself x
Stop and obviously recover and rest. Think about the van another time - don't make any rash decisions or even try and think about keeping or selling. Health is everything, typing this from the doctors waiting room too. Louey
Take some time out mate ,don't rush into selling up I'm sure it can wait 6 months .look after yourself
Bloody hell. Sod the van you concentrate on looking after yourself and do what's right for you and your family. Don’t forget you still have a lot of people in the world to hug
always admired your dedication to the van, what's important now is to look after yourself, fingers crossed you can get everything sorted for the best.
Jesus, thats a scary situation to be in..take it easy & do whats best for you. The hospital let you out quick, my uncle had a heart attack back when he was still with us & he was kept in for a few days to ensure more didnt follow.
Glad your home recovering Para. Yours is just a gentle tap to remind us all not to sweat the small stuff...x
bloody hell ye kept that low glad you came out the other side, now we ve got more in common lol get well soon mc curra
Cheers everyone I’m doing ok I just feel physically destroyed. And of course it’s made me take stock of my lot. The other concern of mine with the van is not just wasting what could be precious time getting it finished. It’s also that if I have another attack and I’m not so lucky this time I don’t want to leave an immobile half built van and boxes of parts stashed everywhere for Mrs para to have to deal with. I think it’s time I started clearing a lot of stuff out and get my affairs in order.
