    I think @SkutterBob has.
I'm looking to get one too.

  3. As I understand it, they don't do Late Late linkages, as the stock VW one works just fine.

  4. I’ve got one and it made a massive difference

  6. think there 45 quidish il have a look

  7. It gives your bus better throttle sensitivity, more like a modern car, removes most of the slop, which can help with returning to idle and the ability to open the throttle(s) all the way.

  9. If you search Rose jointed accelerator link by Karl b on here I think he came up with cheap alternative

We fitted one on our old bus - big difference; much smoother, throttle opened up further, and, most importantly, throttle returned.
If your current linkage is in fine settle I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make, but if it's slightly fubar it's well worth it.

They are available for LHD late late, don’t know about the RHD conversions. Much smoother operation than the standard VW linkage.

  12. I have one for. 79 LHD ex fuel injection bay. Now running on a Subaru enigne. It's great, much smoother and more precise.

Pretty sure he does the whole range of buses. Including rhd

  13. Also have one fitted on my 1970 EarlyBay LHD with Subaru Engine - excellent bit of kit and well worth the asking price.
Smooth pedal with a nice precise return to the stop. Have much better idle and accelerator control with it installed

Yeah he does RHD late bay too. They come with a return spring under the cab floor.

A do-able job on a RHD at techenders you reckon?

Definitely. It’s a direct replacement for stock so should be a quick job (assuming your bolts aren’t all rusted together).

Another one that has it. Very easy to fit and has made a massive difference.

Ive heard they are good but I set to and made my own from 4mm HSLA Plate Steel (FOC) and a set of rose joints from RS Components for less that a tenner fitted.

Its made a vast difference to the floppy worn out set up, so much that I'll make another one for Major in time and see how that pans out

    :hattip:
