Are the bush steel sleeves in modern boge dampers shorter than the originals? The nut on the mount is done all the way up and the damper naturally wants to sit in that position. I think either I’m missing a spacer which I’m sure they don’t have or the steel sleeve/ bush is shorter in length Has anyone else come along this problem?
The Boge dampers we had on Major had small steel spacers in the box with them. I think they are about 8mm long (ish). We swapped them out for KYB's and they required spacers too. You may be able to pack the gap with washers?
