I have a £1000 worth of nitron adjustables on my Lotus, they started leaking after about 3 years and a couple of thousand miles, Nitron weren't interested, just offered a £90 per corner rebuild cost.
Bit more dismantling under the van today so I can drop the old beam Starting to wonder what the hell I'm doing and how on earth I'll remember how to put it all back together
Class . Use cable ties - much quicker. All I can remember from my beam-wrestling is that they have a deep desire to roll over on their backs when you're least expecting it...
Whats the deal with ball joints on the torsion arms, steering drag link etc, is it possible to tell if they need replacing? Or replace anyway because it's convenient?
Seen a few how to's for DIY,.....doable However I need to check pricing for an exchange set , Id seen prices of £120 but that's from a while back, the only price I've found so far is £240 DIY would cost about £100 buying the balljoints and the press tool wotsit
Everything stripped, moved or removed ready for old beam to drop, bolts out, and it's going nowhere Squirted some plusgas behind the endplates and left it till tomorrow
