Prostate cancer

Go get your checks done fella's, had mine this morning.History of it in our family so worth keeping an eye on it.

 

Think I'd go a bit further and say even if there is apparently no family history (something that many, including mine, didn't like to talk about years ago ) get checked...its only a blood test.

 

Had my blood test done a few weeks back

 

Followed by a DRE if your PSA is a bit up.

 

Sounds better than the use of needle extraction for a cell biopsy.

 

Oouuuch

 

No feeling just a sort of thump as the needle is fired...lol. Only hurts afterwards

My dad has just completed his treatment, they have told him positive news - that he will die of something else first

My dad died 29 years ago from prostate cancer ... But he was a badass lieutenant commander ww2 vet ...

 

Well yes but stiff upper lip and all that. Worst bit was waiting for the results.

 

I wouldn't say my Dr has the fattest fingers I have ever seen. But they are definitely up there......

 

If its a digital exam, does that mean you do it online? (pretending to be younger than I am)

 

If i have to have a rectal exam, my doc is a mate I mean you would not ask one of your mates to................... well you know.

 

Father in Law has it. He gets injections of eastrogen and growing is a fantastic set of moobs now.

 

Moobs are sort of okayish...its the hot flushes that get me.

 

The last time I went for a check up, I'd only been there five minutes and chap had got his fist up my arse, do you think I should go to a different dentist?
