What bits are missing for a complete set I know the parts that cover the barrels are missing and if I'm having 90.5 pistons do the standard covers fit ?
From the pics, another lozenge-shaped piece like the bit on the right, doghouse "exhaust" ducting, preheat "stovepipe".
Cylinder heads remain the same size on the outside - the insides get machined away more as the cylinder outside diameter increases. The only thing that may be a bit of an issue is if the new engine has a non-standard crank with greater than 69mm throw in which case the engine build may just end up a bit wider than stock . Tinware is bendable and bashable to shape.
The picture of the Machine 7 tinware above shows the front tin that goes against the petrol tank end has arms tha comes down the side of the engine the one I have does not. It does not look like they have broke off so is there a different type ?
Ok thanks Matty so the one I'm after has the slight raised part on the near left side when you look into the engine bay yes ?
I suspect you are right Snotty all I need for now is the tin for the engine I will keep looking for the rest when I'm ready to fit it into the bus as mine at the moment has home made tin by the PO but it's not the best to be honest.
