So finaly here is Daphnie. Been meaning to start this thread for about a year now but only just figured out how to add/resize all my pics! Looks like shes Been off the road since 1990, then so I am told was sold to a farmer (who choped off her front arches to fix his camper) and dumped her in a barn, she was then sold on to the chap I bought her from, and stored in a container awaiting resto which never happened, until I found her that is. as I found her....
Engine out + cleaned/tidied up - new heat exchangers, replaced loads of broken studs, new exhaust, clutch, twin carbs etc.. Fuel tanks been out ,cleaned,back in new hosed and fill tube etc Driveshafts, all new cables, complete new brake sys, incl backing plates,calipers all pipe lines, etc Home fabricated 4 inch beam as old one was rotten on the ends,drop spindles + 16" wheels, kybs, Lh Inner+outer sills repairs and top hat / jacking / b post point repairs lower rear arch/cill panel repairs ,just done r/h b posts and 2 new jacking points/outriggers inner and outer sills and front arch hump clearancing for the 16's got front arches and a posts , a few floor repairs do plus maybee tubs to fit the 16's on! And finish off the l/h side b pillar etc. Oh and a complete interior And then just tinkering for the mot..............
Good to hear that you are getting a grip and that it's not just a pipe dream like another recent post on here.
