It's now been over a year since I started this thread, and whilst I've not become a super fit athlete, I have achieved more than I realistically thought I would. So, what's in store for this year? So far I'm signed up to take part in something called the "Wolf run" in April. it's a 10k muddy obstacle thing, quite like tougher mudder from what I can gather. Ive been roped into cycling from gateshead to Edinburgh again this year and havent been on the bike since falling off and breaking some ribs in October so getting fit for that isnt something im going to enjoy i reckon

Good to hear you are still keeping to the running - I stopped road running 5 years ago when I got angina - but had a heart by-pass last year and hope to get fit for the Liverpool 5K Santa dash in December
