Just seen it, ow! Didn't seem to have medics there v quickly, and she seemed unconscious hopefully it wasn't too bad as they said she's conscious and communicating in hospital. May have lost a few teeth by the way she landed on her face .
Last week , you were saying the IOC were right not to challenge Putin on behalf of the US What's the difference ?
its totally crapp , the whole thing , BUT NOT THE PEOPLE TAKING PART , why bar the russian parra olymics, and not the able body ones ,the able body ones are skinks , , and in my mind its like watching paint dry , i d watch porn porn porn quicker
That woman crash even made me sit up no matter how dangerous the roads are the cyclists will compete.... Watching sport encourages me to get on my bike more and see the world...
Apparently, you have to be 16 or over to compete in anything. Is it me or do most of those Chinese girls look about 10? Can't believe the're over 16
The South Korean ladies archery team win again and are easily the best dressed, they should get an extra medal for "cool".
Was she not? On the radio this morning they said she'd fractured her back in 3 places. That sounds fairly serious to me!
Girls lost their heads against Enzed, and were simply outfought and out muscled by Canada....though why in 7's you can give away so many penalties by killing the ball but no yellows is beyond me. Still, the Aussie team is streets ahead in terms of athleticsm...GB took rugby players and trained them to be fitter, Aus took athletes and taught them rugby.
The truth is Rugby along with some other sports shouldn't be in the Olympics, it's only played by a few countries and often to a very low standard. Until recently the IOC was run by posh blokes in a gentlemens club, lots of posh sports in there that the billions of people in say China and the east have never heard of also there are games in these countries that are played by millions that never get a look in, but rugger and three day eventing does. The olympics should be the pinnacle and for many sports it's not.
Can't argue with that, am guessing it explains the 90+ years absence. It's a demo event I assumed, unsure if it's there permanently....but agree, there are other sports that need the limelight more.
