I wouldn't worry. Defo several cuts above Ford. I find Ford or Japanese cars seem to rust bad.

The wrap on the back doors looks good.
You could get the bottom half wrapped in a nice red.

Nope, not stalking you but I think it's a good way of changing the look of a vehicle and I should think it'd give some protection to the paint underneath.
It'll be interesting to see what your planning. If only there was a photoshop expert that could help.

 

It would be worthwhile cavity waxing the van ricky if you intend to get many years out of it
I like the wrap to give a window look we did the same on a mates van but with paint and laquer to give the same fake window effect

 

i don't want a gash follow the crowd t5 so bonnet bra etc is out as is 20 inch range rover wheels.... the stripe will follow the bottom of the windows about an inch under and be about 6 inch deep then go round the front and follow the angles on the bonnet.

 

Tart red flooring loos good sir and the rear windows looks the business

and of course red and white is proven to be the best combination on a van....

 

Green is best, but red's not too bad.
