    sANDYbAY On benefits-won't sponsor!

We have a knife and fork drawer in our van  we carry knives, forks, spoons and we even managed to cram in bottle and tin openers as well as a corkscrew.
We used to weave our own crockery from Birch bark but the decided it was easier and more efficient just to carry plates and bowls in the van as well.
We still use whale blubber tallow lamps obviously, but I am thinking about possibly starting to use electric lights. :)

  5. I also have an old and battered petrol driven flymo which is in need of a replacement exhaust.
This has proved itself to be invaluable on several occasions when I have found myself parked next to some selfish @hailfrank ban me please!-clot with a generator.
I have never had to mow around my van and the genny more than once before the hint is well and truly taken.

  6. Can I change mine? It's now this. Hope it works :)

  11. Is that the bugtec one dude?

  12. Bugtech. Engineered by Germans to fit buses engineered by Germans and maintained by Germans. Obviously not suited to buses maintained by South Africans and Brits! It's a seriously nice bit of kit. Threw my CSP one in the bin as soon as I saw it.

Now I've had to fish it out...
    :)

  13. This is my favourite in my van. Was in there when I got it and all works. I added the cage around the bulb as I dropped it a few times and US light bulbs aren't that easy to get hold of.

The cable extends and reaches comfortably to the back of the van or can hook up when I use the awning.

  15. That's uh,... pretty butch there, Beav.
No nancy little fairy lights for your bus. Just the romantic industrial glow of a greasy shop light. :p
