Woo hoo, Type 3 is again mobile, total cost of repair, £5.04p

  1. Ok, there's plenty of swear words that were spoken, lots of skin lost on sharp tinware, and I was cooking cold and needed a hot bath afterwards, but at least I'd finished before it started raining again...
    Lucky I had a spare fan belt (don't we all?)

    Not sure if you can see the video...nope doesn't appear to be a way of uploading video.

    Anyway, new Carbon Brushes fitted, but it took the best part of 30 minutes just to get the new fan belt around the crank pulley inside T1 Suitcase Tinware, buying those packaged 'double folded' belts is not a good idea for this, since its all guesswork inside the tinware...

  2. Mind you, its a 45 minute job according to others, took me most of the day, and I had trouble standing up afterwards...
