That's nice. Is it original all through?

Had a sprint many years ago. Binned the engine and popped a T5 in the hole

It's a 1975 in a darker, cherry red than I remember, looks original though as its the same colour under the tank tub.

Probably Italian as its got the blank plate instead of a Speedo!!! Got a V5 and is already Historic Vehicle status. Did a swap with the engines so kept the one out of the Primmy and the 19.19 carb and Polini exhaust. The chrome leg shield trim needs to go....

Was hoping to do a bit on it when I got back but its a numbing 1.5 degC here today.

With @Dicky and I possibly, weather permitting, off to the Newark Winter Classic (Scooter World) this coming weekend I thought I'd make the ride across a bit safer:rolleyes:

Xmas gift from Mrs Monkey so I can see what's hammering up behind! A rather nice Stadium legshield embellishment

    We like tinkering don't we...o_O
This has been on the cards for a few months but the bike has been so much fun it's just been a total blast to fill it with fuel, run it around, and fill it again. Play pause, repeat.

Anyway the time has come for a strip down. Bearings, seals, and a bit of a performance upgrade.
This principally involves upgrading the exhaust and perhaps slightly altering the port timings. It's reliable and great fun up to just over 50 but then runs out of steam a bit. That's fine round town but longer runs get a bit tedious...
    So this afternoon this happened...

These things are so simple. Carb and electrics disconnected. Cables and exhaust, then mounting bolts.

    And on the toolbox.
