Window Seals for a van, a bit different?

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by slimesub5, May 11, 2020.

  1. I have a Danbury conversion that is derived from a panel van.
The 2 rear and the middle offside windows are definitely “Van”, but the sliding door seems to have a recessed window appetite. Is this normal?

I’m trying to buy a complete set of seals as a kit, but looks like I’m going to have to order separately , this works out more expensive.....

  2. Someone has probably swapped the slider for a better one. Just buy 1 seal from somewhere. I've got a good quality one, new here I think for a factory window

    Lasty and snotty like this.
  3. Exactly this - I threw out the panel van door and replaced with a factory item simply because it was rotten but until you see how roughly cut the panel van doors are you wouldn't believe it...
Someone has done you a big favour
Buy the panel van set , buy a single factory seal - job done .

  4. Thinking about it @3901mick you may not have one . I bought the glass I needed from you , and a seal ...?

Think you can mix and match at schofields on a bundle set
