  3. Where your throttle cable runs through the tin ware
Is it coming through a steel tube with a flared end?
I cant tell from the pics:thinking:

Like what you've done with the tank breather.

  5. Yes it is. I had to elongate the hole at the rear of the fanhousing to get the pipe to line up with the rear tin.

  6. Thanks Zed. Haven't decided where to run the fuel hoses after the pressure regulator yet. It's either behind the fanhousing clipped to the bulkhead or between distributor and fanhousing. Don't like the idea of them rubbing on anything hot.

  7. Passed MOT today with NO advisories!:chewie:

  11. Just had a great week away in the bus at Glastonbury:beer:
Was hard work getting the bus complete in time, but worth it in the end. I was still manufacturing heat shields for the J tubes 40 mins before we left!

Heres a couple of shots of Wilby ready for the road

  12. Looks lovely and bet it was worth it. I'm doing the same, trying to get it ready for bloodstock in a months time. Hasn't got an interior yet lol

  15. Thank you & good luck in getting your bus ready in time. It will be worth it! I remember thinking just 2 weeks ago that I would not get Wilby ready in time (with no engine in, no MOT & not yet having started installing the interior!).

  16. Thanks Para, Wilby has started doing that already! Had our first minor incident on the way to Glastonbury! Happily driving around M25 & suddenly smelt burning! Pulled over and found OS rear wheel very hot. Turns out the handbrake had tightened as the bus interior was fitted and fully loaded with camping gear. On the creative rear spring plates the handbrake cable passes through a hole in them, subsequently when the angle changes the cable is pulled tighter. I should of remembered as when I first set the handbrake it was fine when the wheels were hanging, but once lowered to the ground I couldn't move the bus!
Anyway, a couple of minutes adjusting the hanbrake cables at Cobham services and we were back on our way.

  17. Thanks Kruger, not as thorough as some but I am very happy with the result :). I still have a lot of small jobs to do, so now it's turning into a rolling resto. I will have to move over to Show us your ride section!
