The kids,(six & eight) want a Wii between them for Xmas, I know nothing about them. Would this be OK? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004FEF5PC/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B002TOKYE2&pf_rd_m=A also do I need anything else for the two of them to play together, are there any other accessories I need.
Another controller and Nnchuk for two to play against each other. Cant see if it comes with one nunchuk already. Had a Wii for a yaer now and love the simple ness but very addictiveness of it. it has biult in WiFi so easy to connect to a home network for updates and internet.
Lots of fun, just make sure Kids and adults alike put the controller strap on before playing, lots of TVs and other precious objects can be broken by a flying controller...good fun though 8)
One thing shop around! I found thishttp://www.game.co.uk/en/nintendo-wii-black-limited-edition-console-with-sports-resort-pak-42191?pageSize=20&categoryIdentifier=10470 on the game website and also go to asda and such like as they have offer's on and you can get the game's cheap ! and i also recommend mario kart as well you will want to use it after getting the hang of it! ;D
Talking of mario kart have a watch of this it is soo funny!! http://youtu.be/MytfhzcSF-Y would love to have a go at this! ;D
None of ours are really bothered with the Wii, prefer the XBox or the old PS2. The motion control is interesting to start with, but not particularly accurate, so it gets frustrating after a while. Youngest is 7, right in your age range, and plays PS2 rather than Wii.
Wii awesome, great family fun, we have the Wii fit board too, great for skiing and other stuff like that. Goo for it
You can also download the BBC iPlayer and watch that content on your telly. Plus it has an Opera web browser and takes SD cards so you can look at your photos and home movies. We have an xbox 360 aswell and an old PS2 but they all get used.
