If we all book our vans in for MOT now (or after our last show) it will mean we wont have the age old pre seasons first trip MOT failure rush.
mine isnt due or is it ...i havent checked for ages ......where is that mind altering bit of paper gone ...
yeah - i have been thinking about this ... but need to get the ball joints sorted out first .. which i will probably do in Feb ... it might fail if I put it in before then
Mine's due in January and I intend to keep it on the road over winter - but that's not the best time to have to take it for a test. I shall give the idea some thought.....
Daisy-Mae is off for her MOT tomorrow ... eek! Doesn't actually run out until 8 October so time to get anything sorted Although, to be honest, I am more concerned about the service and MOT for my Polo ... it is going to be 8 this year and coz it is on a two year service plan I have a sneaky suspicion it is going to be expensive this year
Ours is in March so just before the camping season starts in ernest, and I think a lot of peoples are around this time too as they have booked it in for MOT after a resto.
mines is in march a month before i need it on the road and enough time before hand to do all the little jobs that need doing over the winter
No, Springtime is a logical time to have our van's MOT. It gets laid up for winter, therefore giving me the time to get any major issues sorted for the MOT without having to worry about cutting into camping time.
year and a half with out a mot due to all the resto on the van :'( just booked my van in for next friday  fingers crossed
mine is due in June so no drama here, i intend to do all the jobs over the winter as it's gonna be laid up inside, then i will put it in for mot 4 weeks before it is due, if it fails i'll still have 4 weeks of original ticket, if it passes i'll have 13 months ticket.
