A decent roofer will sort you out and there’s no need to worry which way you go. I’d ask for three prices, one to remove and build another, one to remove and fit a G.R.P. chimney fake, and thirdly a price to takedown and roof over. Then the differences may help determine how much you really like it.
The bricks used in that stack are seconds and I’d bet on that too, as is the imitation tray damp, that is second hand material which is why it’s so battered
