This was our third Whitenoise and agree the venue was really good this time as was the whole weekend experience - especially lucky with the weather too! Was it just me or was there way too much driving around going on? - noticed several cars even making trips to the toilets as the drivers seemed far to drunk to walk! Mr B
First time we've been to Whitenoise and overall, it was a very good show. Venue was good, lots of room so no restriction on camping pitch size. Band line-up was good, Kasabian tribute band on the Friday night and the ska band on Saturday afternoon were excellent. Plenty for the kids to do, wide variety of food stalls and there was a few auto jumble stalls. Managed to pick up a Phillips retro radio for the Beetle for £3. Just tested it and it works
First timers at Whitenoise too - really enjoyed it. Very relaxed about pitch size. Realised why so many people had trucks to transport children and belongings as was a b****y nightmare pushing a buggy up and down the hill to the arena area - must get on ebay to buy one! Dipped in and out of the music - best we saw were the Ska band BuBounce in the tent - excellent Madness set. Soul tent good fun too. Felt sorry for the last band on the Sunday - appeared to be only 2 people watching! Some great vans in the Sunday show and shine. Will def return next year - with truck!
