I've been texting Woody this afternoon, he knows and we all know he's a bit of a wind up man, but those that know him proper know he's a good egg, if what he says is true (and it wouldn't supprise me) then this place has a fair few double standards, but hey ho me and my Mrs know that don't we? Anyhow, he's sold his and his Mrs bay got a nice t4 and if I see him again I'll happily drink with the man, at least he says it how it is not behind your back like some....
Not the point though is it. I 'think' hailfrank is fair. If he's having the wool pulled over his eyes by underlings with a personal agenda then that is undermining the whole forum. I'll ask again. What did woody do/post?
The decision was made by admin - not by any mods - I don't know what conspiracy theory is being spread but I think it would be good to let @dog comment - if he wants to. Can we leave it until he is about please ?
I don't see a conspiracy just a long time member banned and people who've known him 5 years or more asking why? He told me he got banned for summat said about this years camperjam where you all camped with magic trev - happy to camp with a banned member or summat? It's all a bit political for me, I'll stick to camping with my Mrs lol
Conspiracy only comes from not knowing the facts. Could we have those 'facts'. Please? Should be fairly simple.
Funny thread is funny. He might be a nice guy, I've never met him, but he was always trolling on here. I got bored of his little games years ago when he'd pm me one thing, and someone else the opposite, to try and get it to kick off. We're not 12 anymore so imho don't need the silly little games.
As I said already - the decision was made by admin. I wasn't even at Camperjam. I think a mod who was abusive to another member would be banned
If there are three? parts to TLB (forum/facebook/official events) i guess it comes down to whether a ban is just for the one or all three, that seems to be the crux to me
The tlb Twitter is never used which is a shame, marrowak used to do it but he's never on, a bit like most mods, you look at mod list and tell me how many you see? This place needs a shake up its going downhill and that's a shame from the old days... New mods needed, new Twitter man new fb man, get some life back in the place so people who actually use the forum and see what's going on get to make choices, not part time mods who just respond to reported posts.
I've met you and I've met woody. You got banned by fish. Everyone saw it was a harsh banning. And you got unbanned because it wasn't fair. Problem is. Woody has been banned and no one knows why.
Like I said - it's up to @dog to make any explanation. Not me. He's not online at the moment but I'm sure that when he is he'll have something to say.
So if you KNOW it's a job that 80% of the other mods aren't doing Bern you need to say summat, you and don are the only ones who really see the forum and can judge if summat is brewing, I'm not slagging it off cos I love the place but the "management" are out of touch
