Motorbike licence 1992, Bath again. Me on a CG125, instructor in a Ford Scorpio, all done over headsets.
I kept losing him in the traffic.
He gave up in the end, went back to the test centre, did the road sign recognition test, and passed.
    I’ve been riding a bike, since I was 12...

Car - 1989 Barry, South Wales -1st time pass with 1 advisory (be less brilliant at driving as it made everyone else look bad)

Bike - 1999 Cheltenham after the Oxford test centre was overbooked. Passed first time, hard to imagine why as I kept having to stop for the instructor who was following in a car through rush hour.

  10. 1983, passed 2nd, time in Wigan. A Nissan Sunny.

I continually misinterpreted the examiner's directions He was incandescent at the end, but passed me as I "didn't actually do anything dangerous".

Luton 96 in a Vauxhall corsa, passed 1st time, I was one of the first to do the theory test as couldn’t book a test before the cutoff.
Then Oxford 06 on a Kawasaki Er5 for my Mod 2 bike test practical, passed 2nd time, and Leighton Buzzard for the Mod 1 skills test, it was a faff then, but think they’ve made it more hassle and expensive since.
