This first picture is from the add i saw when i fell in love with him. And lately I've been thinking why in hell have i done so mutch to change him. Maybe a desire to make it "my own" and ended up making him look way far from what i fell in love with in the first place. Tonight I've made my mind up, I'm gonne change him back !! Well, not all of it, cause once you had a +100 you'll never go back, and inside stays as is. Nose is coming back up, old shoes back on, and I'll see what i can do bout the exhaust pipe. (note to self) dont post when wine 'o clock
I do kinda like the Gulf version too, its got your stamp on it! In og style, its not quite there, if you know what I mean, it needs a bit of something..not quite sure what though
I think its lovely and unique... I know what you mean about the original character, but you just developed his character... I like the orange stripe... not my style with the gulf on side but its a lovely lovely bus... id be super proud driving round in it that's for sure x
Og for me too Jan but you knew i would say that didn't you ! All the same it is nice to make a vehicle our own! What about some furry dice hanging from the rear view mirror ? ;D
I like the original look but i also like the Gulf look, so I'm not much help. :- I have a set of furry dice if you need them.
I hear you. but the thing is, it had that innocent, as i came when born look that i miss. And i must confess, the feel of driving a "sleeper" is one of the things i miss the most
Bit of David Essex on the old cassette player furry dice furry seat covers and you're away mate retro 70s city !
Jan your bus looks right in the first picture like a graceful old lady who has aged well in the second picture she looks like mutton dressed as lamb !
i rarely say this..... but stick the stock wheels back on, see how she looks then, lift the front see how she looks then, do it in stages, i like the Gulf decals.
Sorry pal, I got this wrong Doh! I thought you were asking for everyone's before & after pics. Doh! I think your van looks better after, its kind of unique
