I had to google her. Is she a Young Person in the Hit Parade?

 

I chat with this chap sometimes about song writing.
I had a bash at mixing this from the raw files. Got to love a simple song/arrangement.

 

Quite like the doubling of the vocals in the middle bit.. nice guitar parts and sound as well.

 

Well recorded. not easy, I believe he played everything. It was first song he wrote starting with the bass and he now has a thing about starting with the bass... but I don't think he's written another one as good. I think it was just doing things in a different way made the good song come out. He's convinced bass is the way to go. lol Either way, I'd be happy to have written a nice song like that.

 

Is that a real bass then? I thought it sounded a bit synthy

 

It's a real bass. He thought the same and re-recorded the whole lot a couple of years ago with an actual bass player, keyboardist and drummer. The bass now has some twang but I can't find it now.
