  1. Two things wake me, ive moaned about it, still happens though

1 is my brother, he is a night person so when we are asleep he uses the microwave and open and shuts the cupbords, he thinks he is quiet but he's bloody not

2 is the neighbours dog that yaps around 5-6am

some complaints fall on deaf ears

  2. 1 of my children

haven't needed a alarm clock for 5 years

  3. rickyrooo1

rickyrooo1 Hanging round like a bad smell

my insomnia wakes me up.....but seriously, if i can get to sleep i'm fine but if i wake up at anytime in the night i can't get back to sleep, i have tinnitus and when it's really quiet it is very noticable. i never need an alarm clock by the way, if i want to wake up at 6 i just tell myself the night before and i always wake up before the alarm (i set as a back up).

  4. I have tinnitus as well.
    Really :charles: me off.
If I'm at home I usually have the radio or music on in every room. If I think about it (like now!) it's worse...
    Think about something else now...

  7. Terrordales

    Terrordales Nightshift

At this time of year, either the Black Cockatoos coming down for a feed in the trees & screeching or else Ms.T coming home from a night shift & demanding I get my lazy fat Ar$e out of bed & make her a cuppa.
The Cockatoos are quieter but don't let her know I've said that. ;)

  8. At the weekends it's my dog shouting to be let out in the garden from 6am. Curiously during the week when I get up at 6.30 he is still on the sofa snoring ::)

  9. My soon to be 5yr old, or just my body saying 6am get ya assssss outa bed lady ;)

  11. a whole multitude of alarms...

mrs marowaks goes off at 6.20 - with mine moments later ...
then a few minutes later r2d2 beeps and lights up the room ...

then snoozing begins before having to get out of bed

  12. needing a wee, although this morning on my day off it was the bin men at 6am BEEP BEEP BEEP CAUSTION THIS CARS REVERSING all the way up the blooming road :banghead:

  13. Everything ::)

Needing the loo, one of the cats walking around, MH moving, needing water, imaginary buglars, night terrors and that's just a normal night  I'm a very light sleeper and can't remember the last time I slept all the way through from going to sleep to getting up :(

  14. My alarm which I then snooze for at least 30 mins (though lately it's been closer to 50 before I finally drag myself out of bed)

Or the cat jumping between us in the middle of the night and purring in my ear...

  15. Terrordales

    Terrordales Nightshift

  16. dazzles alarm clock, then the puppy yapping, the the toddler shouting daddy, then the baby crying.. no need for technology for me!!

  17. I'm a very heavy sleeper. I need 5 alarms going off at 3 min intervals, 4 on my phone and 1 the other end of the bedroom to make sure I get up to switch it off. :-[

  18. I get woken up regularly at about 7am by Lucy my collie X wanting to get under the covers as she's cold. Doesn't matter that her bed is against the biggest, warmest radiator or its mid summer and 20 degrees in the house either. ::)
