I'm trying to identify what roof I have on my 1978 Bay. It doesn't seem to match any of the roofs I've seen (i.e. Devon or Danbury). The other roofs seem to have struts on the long side not the short. I did think it may be a modern added roof but one of the struts say's made in W Germany so may be not. Any help would be appreciated.
It's a Devon roof same as mine and many others but the strut system looks homemade and a bit dodgy to be honest.
looking at your roof its convincing me ours is a devon too, still to upload pics of struts but how easy is it to change struts to gas?? and wheres best place to get new canvas...
On putting the roof up today at the guy who's doing the units place we came to the conclusion it's actually in pretty good nick it's the struts that need sorting really ...but will defiantly keep that in mind Keith thank you ☺
