What ohm coil

Hi I have a 1978 bay running a type four engine with a ignition 123 distributor what ohm coil are my best to use with this set up. I am currently using 3.0 ohm flame thrower. Thanks in advance. graeme.

 

123 recommended the Bosch Blue, or any coil of a suitable resistance. Pretty sure 3.0 ohm was ok

 

As below, Bosch blue or anything over 1.0 ohm

 

A Brazilian Bosch will do you. Chuck the Flamethrower over the fence.

I just noticed, the Blue Bosch coil is now £148 at Heritage

This one which is equivalent, black and VW branded, and what I use is £29 at Heritage.
