    Hi.
    Had this little knocking again.
On investigating I took off front small belly pan and found a wet open tube end, metal, runs all the way to back to above gearbox from what I see.

Looks like something should be there,
    What missing? [IMG][IMG]

Pics looking up front next to handbrake lever/cable.
This opened tube is above handbrake cable linkage.

  3. It’s the front end of the gear selector shaft. It’s fine, you’re not missing anything.

    Thanks.

  5. If you waggle the gear stick, you’ll see it move in and out.

    Mobile phones are so useful.
    Look down your carb throat.
Film stuff underneath while you wiggle from afar.
Watch your valves with a £5.99 add on camera or look in your gearbox.
    :)

  10. Now that's a good idea! Got a link?

  11. I think that's the tube you remove to get a full "stirring porridge" effect that people expect:D

I don't have that stirring porridge effect.
Changes gear nice and easy... Remembering to pause in neutral during change.
