Definitely a Wetty. I think they were camper berlin type interior, or Helsinki, mymate has one and I can't remember the conversion.
What about the D plated Commer at the back ....they were known as the Commer walkthru sold a lot to the army , had a small Perkins diesel in them ...but that's a camper convertion and very rare .
looks like a cross, bulldog and the guild dog things with the toilet roll...[got a long tongue though] [dam forgot to add tongue to my food hate list] rusty gutters is a no no...
Wasn't thinking of buying this one, just have a fondness for the type but if I found a nice SA one...................... The roof is extra strong on these, I drove all the way down the M69 with mine still up! Before anyone says HOW? Mine had a full bulkhead with a window in it, so I couldn't feel the draught.
FYI Glyn. It is a Westy. The turret top was an option on later Westfalia and (I think )Dormobile conversions to make what they called a day van. It is a similar turret to the so42 as baysearcher said. but they were a different profile on the bay.
I have found out this.. Westfalia called it a SO36 combi with polyester elevating roof from 67 -73. the turret roof was then an option on the Westy Berlin and some.people called it a day van
***** me - that looks like someone murdered a clown - lime green interior, orange seats, tan front seats, orange bus and navy roof.
