what alloys

  1. ;)
i am thinking off getting me some alloys but dont want any mucking about with them as in spaces/tight wheel arches etc etc
    straight on/off nice n simples
so which one are they there must be some

  2. biased as i've got them, I bought the fuchs style 'Empi 911' wheels off JK. Offset and everything designed for the type 2, so loads of arch clearance at the back etc etc. And they were cheap, got a cracking deal on tyres too.

I also have BRM's fitted to the blue bus, the offset on these is different so the rear arch clearance is not as massive, you can still get fingers up in the space so its not a problem.

I didn't like the steering 'feel' of these though - I think it makes the track around 2" wider
    :)
