    My names Chas (Steeley) I live in Bournemouth been a member for a while picking peoples brains but I thought I should show you mine

    I have nearly finished my 1972 westfalia continental (ZEB) built in 72 and registerd in 74 hence the M plate

    Just come back from first night camping in the New Forest, first night in a bay since about 91 when I sold the last one I owned

    Nice bus @steeley , I love the Continental and your interior looks in great condition. :thumbsup:
    Will you fit fly screens and the slider jalousie window?

Not sure which way to go (the misses is trying to stop me spending on the bus as we are off to NZ for December) she thinks the £80 I just spent on the original stool is excessive, so just going to use in for now it will probably keep going back to totally original apart from the drop and the wheels.
     
  4. Hopefully going to refurb a Solex pict 34 3 and an original air cleaner and replace the weber and chrome filter this weekend

    welcome, there's a few of you m reg'd 72's on here - the downside of the expensive westy i think?

    Welcome! Just down the road from you in Branksome (Poole). Hoping to take a look at the wheels festival tomorrow via a long walk through Bournemouth gardens. Van is currently having its roof replaced!
