SOLD Sold.

  1. Hi everyone.

I have a pair of genuine Weber ICT34's for sale. These were to go on my 2.0ltr type 4 engine, this engine was built by "voldemort" or he who shall not be named and has died again. So I have bought a Subaru Forester and it's engine and loom are being modified by Nick Tune, currently. So I have no need for a nice set of Webers.

These have been completely stripped, soaked, cleaned and rebuilt.
They have had new carb kits on, all gaskets and acc pump diaphragms, the manifolds have been drilled and tapped and have barbs fitted for a balance pipe, which I have a bit of air hose for.
They have had all new jets, emulsion tubes and float valves, and the float heights set to Way Out Westie's spec on his website. In fact he was coming to fit them and tune them, but the the engine....well you know...POP.

They are a complete and ready to fit pair, I have two pairs of manifold to head gaskets. a pair of the thick spacer (phenolic???) heat soak manifold to carb gaskets are fitted, linkages, filters and a pressure regulator all included. There is a spare rebuild kit, just in case and all the old jets, needles, etc etc that were removed.

The jet sizes are (2.0 ltr)

    165 mains, 185 air, 55 idle, F6 emulsions, 150 float jets.

So hopefully a bolt on set.

I'm hoping for £400 posted or slightly less collected, I'm open to offers and if I'm way off on price please talk to me.

You can collect from near Sherborne, Dorset, I can post and I'm sure I can get them to techenders via the "Thatchers Gold" courier @Baysearcher if you ask nicely and are carrying said cider on pick up.

Contact me on here if you need anymore pictures or info.

    Many Thanks

    Paul

  9. Well, having been let down again I find myself offering these for sale again, all the info is above.

  10. Can't believe these haven't sold - great carbs for a 2 litre or re-jet for a 16/17/1800

Slightly small for 2.0l but will work, even better for 1700/1800 type 4 or with suitable manifolds a Type 1 engine.

Price seems very reasonable, you just need a buyer. GLWS

  12. Thanks, I've had 3 buyers all changed their minds.

Is it cost effective for me to contemplate these on a type 1 1600 tp. Would they just require new jets and manifolds?

  14. Type1 :

    1600/1641 145 mains, 165 airs, 55 idles, f6 emulsions, 150 float jets.

    1776 160 mains, 180 airs, 55 idles, f6 emulsions, 150 float jets.

    Type4 :

    1700 155 mains, 175 air, 55 idle, F6 emulsions, 150 float jets.

    1800 160 mains, 180 air, 55 idle, F6 emulsions, 150 float jets.

    2 litres 165 mains, 185 air, 55 idle, F6 emulsions, 150 float jets.

Currently has the 2 Litre set up as above so £10 worth of jets to change, I'm not sure about the manifolds. But cheaper than buying the complete setup yes. Actually I have 160 Air's I don't know if that's close enough. Happy to do a deal on price, they definitely don't fit an EJ20 so are just in the way.

  16. I seem to remember when you were selling your big type 1 engine on here you prefaced the thread with something along the lines of you didn't want chat, discussion, speculation, unhelpful or irrelevant comments on your for sale thread, perhaps you would like to afford my for sale thread the same courtesy?

Profuse apologies. It was my intention to suggest that you might not need to re-jet the carbs for 1600 and they would be ok as they are for any size engine. I'm sorry if it didn't come over that way. I will delete my post.

Going to work out too expensive with me needing to buy type 1 manifolds. Glws

  19. Not a problem, but I'm very open to offers, if you wanted to try me.
