    We would love to Dave ...we were there in May near where Chris goes to at Stonethwaite . The site is next to the rd on a bend ...good facility's called Chapel house farm site just past Rosthwaite.
    Unfortunately Dave, my dad is in the end of life ward at the Derby hospital with renal failure, so basically we are obviously having to be around .

  8. Yeah its weird as its got a club shop etc and all really good pitches and facilities !
    Not bothered about the toilets as it makes it cheaper.

  10. That’s what mine is, 127 motor. I couldn’t source the cut off / pilot valve in the right jet size so have gone twin Weber 40s. It pulls lovely and is nice and tight like a brand new engine :)

  11. You can always do what bears do. Stayed there last year. The warden said their were red squirrels all over. Didn't see one. Lovely walks around the lake, over Cat Bells, Watendlath valley and up through Castle Crag.

  14. i usually stay out of these debates and i dont post on any forums much but i am in a bad mood so i am throwing my hat in the ring tonight, if you like to drive a kombi why the hell would you put a none VW engine in it i really dont get it, if you wont reliable drive something else!!

  15. Because they like driving them so much they want a more reliable engine so they can drive them more, it's really very simple.

    you have no place in an engine conversation ;) only as a bystander can you look on upon us higher mortals with engines to moan about not going fast enough
