(Waiting for) My new bus!

Did you get a name yet ? I was assuming a she, but maybe a he, or maybe a Bi or maybe a 'dunno'.

 

Will try and get pics but it may be a bit dark on the garage forecourt, depending on when it arrives. Not sure of a name yet, will wait until I meat him/her/it!

Finally, it has arrived!!

I went and met it at the garage earlier today. I love it! And it is green, not yellow, but I love the colour. I gave it a good look over, as much as I can, and it seems great, no nasty surprises. The battery was flat so I couldn't take it for a test drive unfortunately.

It's now at my local vw garage near Exeter, the guy there seemed really impressed with it so I'm glad about that. It's staying there now to be serviced and MOT'd. Also the sliding door doesn't slide very well so he's gonna sort that too.

The only bad thing is I won't be able to drive it back up north for Christmas as I don't think I'll be able to get it registered in time. Phoned the dvla and they said you can't get the reg there and then, it takes up to 72 hours to process. Also haven't got customs forms yet.

So, it's staying at the garage now until after Christmas.
