This is a top show and we loved it despite the regular afternoon shower. We were lucky enough to blag some free family tickets in exchange for a bit of video and photography so decided to travel down Thursday afternoon and get in with the traders. Best decision we ever made after listening to some of the comments about queueing to get in. We had a rather exclusive pitch: We were next to the Magical Camping area so if you don't have a van or tent you could have stayed here: One of these was rented out to a hen party We had lovely weather but had a shower in the afternoon which was a trend that continued over the weekend: Every morning was bright sunshine enabling us to enjoy some al fresco breakfasts: Friday morning and a few of the traders start to get set up: Some are more energetic than others: At least the Funfair was good to go:
Brilliant - I want to play there next year - was going to last year - but was double booked over that weekend...
It's a music based show for VW peeps so the "entertainment" was fantastic - it had just what everyone wonders what they paid extra for at your "regular" vw shows. I'll be going next year for the whole weekend for sure. Quite a bit of the entertainment was in proper buildings, so if it had been muddy no squelching about. The bogs were proper brick built so no portaloos. All in all really good well organised show. 10/10
Our friends turn up early Friday morning after blagging on the gate that they were part of my operation: I get down to the main gate to start earning my freebie: People were quite keen to get in: The gates open: Some people had forgotten the NO GLASS rule and had to find ways to de-canter alcohol in glass bottles: Everybody had to leave glass at the gate but were allowed to come back and re package it later. Some nice vans: The Funfair opens: Bands start setting up: Stalls open:
After Friday night's fun everyone gets out in the sunshine: Norfolk seem to have a real following for scooters as there were a couple of scooter clubs on site and loads around the campsite: Saturday had a line up for Pick Ups, Bikes, Caddys and Golfs: The great weather with afternoon shower continued: Managed to meet a contender for the Victor Meldrew award: Some great graffiti going on:
that was a particularly good bash! I am still suffering from having it extra large for hours and hours at Visiontech saturday! Only four alcohol related bruises though so got off lightly

Thanks Woody it really is a great show which will no doubt be even bigger next year and I am hopeful it will not evolve into just another show. The folk that run it seem to have their heads wired up right so fingers crossed. Here are some of my favourites:
