  1. Genuine reason for reluctant quick sale due to job loss and company car loss... make me a sensible offer...

Welcome to Hiccup (named by our son after the boy in "how to train your dragon").
He is a 1.6 1978 with a part devon interior and a "straight up" danbury pop top roof.
Has a 3/4 rocknroll bed "downstairs" and two single hammocks up top too. The rock and roll bed has plenty of under bed storage too.
"Furniture" wise we have an extra buddy box with underneath storage and behind that a hessian topped wardrobe with a hanging rail.
There is a two hob "cooker" and grill rack, a lovely little cutlery drawer and still room for storage underneath for the gas bottle and other pots pans or utensils. There is a unit running down the sliding door side where we keep all our cookware and food. Underneath what was previously the sink (now the stereo) is a thermal cooler which works by pouring cold water into the padded filter above.
MOT until 06/14 not currently taxed but will possibly stick on some tax when bought (if asking price is met).
The interior was recently fitted by a professional carpenter with size chizzled bamboo strips to create that rustic/tiki feel. The floor was layed with over 100 year old french oak and looks beautiful).
There is hessian inside the pop top roof and along the base of the bed/seat.
The panels/boards are covered in a high quality brown hatched material which is foam backed for extra insulation. This was purchased from a friend who was doing an interior fitting on a private yacht.
Both the front door panels and rear cargo area are all covered in thermal insulation padding too. Then recovered with hessian sacks over the top.
The front seats are from a volvo so not original, but far more comfy and covered in retro beading.
The paint work is in cadbury purple.
I wont lie its not perfect. It had bubbles down one side and I sanded it down as they were getting on my nerves. Its finish is no way at all in show winning condition so if that's what you're looking for I suggest you move on. It is shaggy and patchy and all over worn looking but that's why we love him.
The engine runs fine and has taken us down to cornwall and back and this year has been our best show season ever (we like to end on a high) - we have camped pretty much every weekend from march to august. Starting at Elemental Essex then other shows... what about the weekends without shows? A local campsite had us nearly every weekend and knew us by name lol.
As I said.... this has been an amazing season and Hiccup hasn't let us down.
We had a new steering pin fitted for its MOT this year.
We had a new alternator fitted two years ago and a new battery.
A leisure battery was also fitted this year and we have wired up some led lights for night time.
There is also a stereo fitted in the back but not yet wired, and a 12v socket in the back too.
We are a young couple with a young child and would not be driving this around if I thought it wasnt safe (or comfy lol).
We have had an amazing few years in Hiccup but its time to move on to our next chapter.
