  2. My sister, in her infinite wisdom, booked her kids christening for that weekend - I have repeatedly told her/my mum that I'm away but guilt has gotten the better of me and I'll prob not go to Action.

It is a great show, I'd really like to take Mini-me to it due to the theme (he's a Superhero nut and has a costume for all occasions) but I doubt I can get away with it.

I'll try to engineer a family feud before I vote...

Problem i've found with Vw action and Bugjam is there not really camper shows, they're full of young chavs racing round in there golfs and polos and keeping you up all night with loud banging chav music, the best one in my opinion is Bigbang, it's mainly buses and a bit more chilled show

  4. Never had that issue at Action, always found it very relaxed and quite family friendly. Never been to bugjam and don't intend to ever go... Big Bang falls at wrong time of year for me.

  5. You Gettin old man :)

Quite like the look of big bang though will pop to that

Most people seem to say its quite good and family friendly and quite like looking at the other vw stuff and water pumpers sometimes

Not chavs though don't like them ones

  13. Tickets paid for :) Always go to VW Action it is a very good show. Both the BWA and USB should be running some fast buses.

  14. So 'Pants' man. Can't say I'm familiar with particular super hero.

  15. Oh no, its not a superhero, its just an embarrassing problem.

  17. Can't wait to finish work and get on my way to Santa Pod. Hope the van gets me there and back OK and we enjoy ourselves.

  18. Just packing the van now to head down to the 'pod once the other half finishes work - it has always been a brilliant, chilled show! My first year last year since its moved to Santa Pod, and now it's just a chilled show with drag racing :D how can you get better than that!?!?
Was hoping my TLB stickers would have turned up in time, but they haven't :( hope to spot some of you there though xx

  19. We are here as my birthday surprise from my youngest son and eldest daughter, never been but enjoying it so far ;):)

  20. Went and had a thoroughly good time during the day. Got Violetta's name put on the back and met some interesting and friendly people. One person even turned his car round and put his headlights on to allow us to see whilst putting our tent up in the dusk. Good man.
However never would I camp in the general area again. I love camping but I'm getting old and intolerant I was not happy with the inconsiderate group who put their sounds on FULL BLAST from midnight until 1 in the morning when the security threatened to kick them out. Have to say they had a fantastically powerful speaker system. Then sat and chattered at full volume for another couple of hours. Followed by two Neanderthals staggering though the site calling to each other. Yes Steven and Alan I mean you!
Having seen what I needed to we went home Saturday evening so that we could go out with friends and sleep, quietly, in our own bed. ZZZzzzzzz
