Any one planning to go to this year’s event?

 

Yes, at least two of us...but can we change the title otherwise somebody on here will get upset

 

just attending or are you planning a club display type thing?

I have a ticket already but would be good to hook up with some other late bayers.

Not sure , as I’ve been disappointed with the show , particularly the last one as it was pretty badly organised for the club stands
Shame really as I’m literally 15min away

You know what happens when you start pressing buttons

 

I cant make either day, booked in two things on Saturday, visit to a garden in the morning, Sailing Club AGM in the afternoon.. and I am Safety Officer at a regatta on Sunday..
The sailing club events kept moving date until they coincided with Volksworld.

 

Don’t be such a miserable sod, I’ll give you a man hug, buy you a beer and I’ll let you wear my HAIRPIECE

 

Last time I was taken there in style by @Gingerbus his bus does go a bit and is as smooth as @Suss head

 

Looks like I won’t be there as I’ll be sliding down some mountains on my plank.

I`m only down the road but it`s been a bit lame the last couple of times and i think they`re struggling to get club exhibitors - last i saw the usual public car park `for sale` was moved into the parade ring `prime spot` where we`ve been a few times and the SSVC had bailed leaving a massive area (probably 50-60 vans) pretty empty which leaving plenty of room and the organisers just encouraged everyone to spread out - usually it`s a struggle trying to find a spot !

I`ll probably pop along to see a few folks but i`ve got a booking with @JamesLey that weekend so we`ll see
